This buckle will last a lifetime as long as the spring keeps going at least! :-). Very solid stainless steel construction will most likely last longer than the polyester strapping I'm using with it to make some roof rack straps. Alloy cam buckles eventually "fur" up and corrode in salty environs, I don't expect these will ever. Wish they did other sizes (15mm?)..

Replacement for a very cheap buckle on a Rhino Rack product. Far better quality than I expected...about twice as heavy and much better made than the original equipment. Glad I got 5 of them.
