Our outboard covers are designed in Australia by Oceansouth - a well-respected marine company with over 30 years manufacturing experience who stands behind their products.

The Boat Warehouse stocks three main variants of outboard motor covers. Most of these covers are designed for specific models of motors. Universal storage covers are also available if you happen to have a motor not covered by our custom range.

Vented Outboard Motor Covers

Featuring vent slots aligned with the specific brand and motor, vented outboard motor covers are designed to stay on the motor while it's running. The cover will keep harmful UV radiation, salt, etc off the motor cowling while you're on the water and protect the cowl from knocks and scratches when your boat is back on the trailer, or moored.

These outboard covers offer a snug fit and feature high-quality fabric with a soft internal layer. A heavy-duty nylon buckle fastens the cover tightly to your motor. The vents themselves are made from a tough and flexible mesh.

Vented motor covers are currently available for Honda, Mercury, Suzuki, Yamaha & Evinrude outboard motors.

Half-Cowl Storage Covers

To protect the top part of the motor while your boat is not being used, or while trailering, half covers offer a more economic storage solution for your motor. Do not use these covers while the motor is running as they can cover the vents.

Half-cowl outboard covers offer a snug fit and feature high-quality fabric with a soft internal layer. A heavy-duty nylon buckle fastens the cover tightly to your motor.

These outboard motor covers are currently available for Honda, Mercury, Suzuki, Yamaha & Evinrude outboard motors.

Full Storage Covers

Full outboard motor covers protect the whole motor and propeller when your boat is out of the water. Do not use these covers while the motor is running as they cover the vents, and the prop will destroy the lower part of the cover in dramatic fashion.

These outboard covers offer a looser fit and feature high-quality fabric with a soft internal layer. A nylon buckle fastens the cover to your motor. A heavy-duty nylon zipper located towards the transom allows the full cover to easily be removed.

Full outboard motor covers are currently available for Honda, Mercury, Suzuki, Yamaha & Evinrude outboard motors. Universal outboard covers are available for other makes and models.
