Enerdrive’s ePOWER Industrial Battery Charger is built to withstand the vibration, dust and moisture typically found in on-board or industrial applications. Charge Algorithm updates can be made via the use of a USB memory stick. Suitable for use with trolling motors, house batteries, and electric drive systems on boats, and also ideal for electric golf carts and forklifts
Extremely Durable
A fully sealed die cast aluminum enclosure protects the charger from fluids and other contaminants. The design of the charger enclosure mirrors the internal components, protecting against shock and vibration. (IP67 if using AC input seal).
Programmable Charging
A USB host port allows for charger data logging downloads and charge algorithm uploads using a commonly available USB flash drive. This information can be used by OEMs to improve products, limit battery warranty claims and help technicians with troubleshooting issues. N.B. Default program is for FLA batteries.
Battery Charging Flexibility
With 25+ standard algorithms to suit most batteries on the market today, the ePOWER Industrial charger also has the ability to load a custom algorithm made by Enerdrive to suit any type of lead acid or lithium battery. The charger is optimized to provide precise battery charging of different battery chemistries and battery manufacturers. These charge profiles allow charging to occur quickly and carefully, maximizing battery life and performance.
Please Note: By default, the charger is set for use with Trojan T105 FLA (flooded lead acid) batteries. For use with AGM, Gel and Lithium batteries, the charger should be reprogrammed by following the instructions in the User Manual.
The Charge Profile Spreadsheet (.xlsx) contains .pyl files, which must be transfered to the charger using a USB stick. The full procedure can be found in the User Manual below.
A fully depleted Lithium battery may disconnect internally and refuse to charge. Follow the battery manufacturer's instructions to reset. A USB stick loaded with a power supply profile can be used to temporarily modify the charger's output and "jumpstart" the battery (See the spreadsheet for more info).
