Load Bearing Collars from Trudesign designed to suit Trudesign ball valves (seacocks) and through-hulls.
The addition of the collar will make an assembly of Trudesign skin fitting, ball valve and tail to withstand a 500lb (227kg) load applied to the tail (inboard end), for a minimum of 30 seconds. Such an assembly complies with North American ABYC H-27 standards, which is mandatory for all vessels sold into the US.
Manufactured from high strength, UV stabilised glass reinforced nylon composite making the valve strong and lightweight.
