FSE Robline Dinghy Control - 6mm

Dinghy Control is a high tech, small boat racing line, perfect for lightweight controls and sheets. Diolen PES (polyester) is used for the cover, and Dyneema® SK78 for the core. The unique SYIS polyurethane treated core has excellent UV and abrasion resistance.

The cover can be stripped and tapered, where needed, to save weight and decrease diameter. This line is ideal for critical load applications such as halyards, backstays and spinnaker sheets.

Features

• Diolen polyester cover with a durable 32 plait "one over one" single strand weave provides abrasion resistance and excellent cover/core grip
• 12-Strand Dyneema SK78 braid core
• The core is impregnated with a unique, lightweight SYIS polyurethane treatment, where each individual thread is fully coated
• Just 0.6% stretch at 15% of average breaking strength
• Available in blue, green, orange, purple, red, and yellow

Dynema® is the Dutch company DSM Dyneema's brand of UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene fiber), a long chain, high strength, oriented strand, synthetic fiber with very high strength as well as high abrasion resistance. This fiber is also known as HMPE (High Modulus PolyEthylene). Dyneema is available in a number of formulations, SK-60, SK-75, SK-78, SK-90, etc. Each progressively stronger and more expensive.
