Grey rubber snap davit pad intended for Neoprene/Hypalon inflatables.
Hypalon's resistance to UV & chemicals makes it an ideal material for inflatable boats. Typically used for higher-quality RIBs, Hypalon is less likely to suffer from wicking where the air escapes through the fabric.
Less resistant to abrasion than PVC, work boats and other vessels involved in heavy duty applications will normally be produced from different material. Hypalon must be sanded prior to gluing to allow a mechanical bond to be formed between the surfaces.
