Anderson 40ST E1 Electric Conversion Kit - 12V or 24V

Andersen E1 Single Speed Electric Conversion Kits are available for Andersen self-tailing winches ranging from size 28ST - 72ST. If your Andersen Winch is less than 20 years old, there's a great chance it is already designed to incorporate an electric conversion kit and installation will be very simple. If you are not sure how old your Andersen Winch is, check the base stamp which will indicate the version number and date of manufacture. Click here for more information about where the base stamp is located and how to interpret it. We strongly recommend providing the base stamp when ordering an electric conversion kit to ensure compatibility.

The Andersen E1 Motor is a high quality European engineered and manufactured series wound motor. Carefully matched with the optimal gearbox, they deliver high speed at low load for fast sheeting in, and low speed at high load for safe, fine tuning when trimming. The motors are available in 12 Volt and 24 Volt models, providing smooth and quiet operation across a wide working load range. A secondary push button (RA582000) may be added at any time by connecting in parallel with the primary push button. The deck plate features an octagonal cutout allowing for 8 different motor mounting orientations at 45° intervals.

Know Before You Buy

• Locate your winch's base stamp and provide the number with your order to ensure compatibility.
• Check all dimensions of the motor unit you are interested in and confirm you have enough space onboard. Dimensional diagrams can be found on the Winch Data Sheets.
• "K"-Dimension (through-deck) extensions are available upon request.
• Circuit breakers are sold separately and must be "slow blow" or "long delay" type. Marine weatherproof rated, DC power systems only.
